The name on everyone’s lips is Jill Zarin. Her rant about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl commercial got her fired from E!’s upcoming spinoff of Real Housewives of New York. It’s a scandal that has united the Bravoverse, and now, Andy Cohen has weighed in on the drama. If anyone knows a thing or two about firing Jill, it’s him.
Jill Zarin has been fired from The Golden Life on E!
Andy weighed in on Jill’s Super Bowl Sunday fiasco on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. He and his co-host, John Hill, were talking about how their night on Broadway seeing Kandi Burruss. There were a bunch of Housewives in attendance, including Jill’s former The Golden Life costar, Luann de Lesseps. Her trusty fedora was “on tight,” according to Andy and John.
Andy recalled, “Of course, all the Housewives were just talking Jill Zarin, and you know, again, I don’t really have anything to say about it besides, ‘Call E!’”
John pointed out that, at this point, there’s probably no point in calling E! because they’ve already fired her. She’s already been dragged from every corner of the Bravoverse. Hasn’t she suffered enough?
“Well, I think now that she’s lost her job, I don’t wanna kick someone, that seems like plenty of punishment, so I don’t want to kick someone when she’s down,” John said.

Andy agreed, and he reflected on just how wild it is that Jill’s return to TV failed so spectacularly. He knows just as much as anyone how badly she’s been wanting this, only for things to go south a week after the cast announcement. Still, Andy’s biggest takeaway from the fiasco was the way Zarin Fabrics got in on the mess. They made it clear that she doesn’t have anything to do with their business anymore.
“Posting a picture of Jill with an X over it, with an X over her face. I never thought that I would see the day,” Andy admitted.
