Lainey Wilson and Devlin "Duck" Hodges have said "I do!"

The country music star, 33, and the NFL player, 30, tied the knot on Sunday, May 10 at the Ruskin Cave in Dickson, Tennessee, according to Vogue. Wilson wore a custom Oscar de La Renta gown, which featured tiny Japanese cherry blossoms around the neckline and scattered throughout the dress.

"Duck and I were driving backroads in Tennessee and saw a billboard for The Ruskin Cave," Wilson told the outlet. "Duck said, 'You wanna get married there?' I said, 'Done deal.' We dropped by, saw the venue and fell in love with the natural beauty of the cave and the simplicity of the property."

The ceremony took place alongside a cobblestone ledge at the foot of a waterfall on the property. They arrived via a white horse-drawn carriage and were married by Wilson's close friend and mentor, Wes Williams.

"My absolute dream ceremony," Wilson told Vogue. "There’s a small waterfall flowing down the hill behind the altar and windows. The waterfall is what convinced us to do the ceremony in this spot.

Duck opted for a bespoke suit by D. Lacquaniti, which featured a custom bolo tie, cufflinks and a hat pin created with Mud Lowery. He wore custom boots by Golden West Boots and a cowboy hat by Charlie 1 Horse.

After cocktail hour, the party moved over to the cave where the reception was hosted. “My mama led the dinner prayer for all of our guests, and we settled in for a night of good food, good company, and good music,” Wilson told Vogue. “Our family and friends know how to have a good time, and the dance floor was packed all night."

The celebration ended as the couple walked through a line of sparklers and cheering loved ones, before they drove off in an old white Ford truck.

News of their wedding comes after the country music superstar announced on Instagram in February 2025 that she and the former NFL player and current realtorwere engaged.

She shared the news alongside a series of romantic photos and videos, captioned "4x4xU forever ❤️," referring to the track "4x4xU" off her album, Whirlwind.

Wilson opened up about the proposal in a TikTok video shared by WTVF-TV in April 2025, sharing, “So, I had talked myself into thinking he was going to do it that day. And then I called my sister, I said, ‘He’s going to propose to me today.’ And she was like, ‘I gotta go.' "

"And then I talked myself out of it because I thought, ‘Man I sure would be upset if I talked myself into this and that don’t happen,' " she continued.

While the two had been ”wanting to go see the George Jones estate," she recalled being told by Hodges that they needed to “go next week” to visit the site.

"And then as we [pulled] up, I realized that there were different plans," she said. "So, he had it all set up. He had the candles and the picture frames, and it could not have been more perfect."

In August 2025, Wilson revealed to PEOPLE that during the proposal, the ring had been placed inside a mini cowboy hat-shaped box.

"Man, I tell you what, trying to wrangle me in is, it's a lot," she admitted to PEOPLE. "But I will say even the hat box situation, he proposed to me with the little hat box, and so just being able to do that and also at the same time be celebrating our engagement and our love, it feels good."

She described Hodges as her "biggest supporter" and "biggest cheerleader," noting that she hoped Wilson would be brought to tears during her walk down the aisle.

"I'm excited to just step outside of the box and see what happens. So hopefully when he sees me, he'll be boohooing," she said.

"The sky is the limit, that's how he acts about everything," Wilson further added. "He's just the place that I get to call home and I'm lucky to have him and I think he's pretty dang lucky to have me, too."

The couple stepped out publicly for the first time at the ACM Awards in May 2023, two years after they began dating in 2021.
