Stacey Rusch hopes to instill this powerful lesson in her daughter, Arabella.
The Real Housewives of Potomac star spoke with PEOPLE at the Glamour Women of the Year party back in November at the Plaza Hotel in New York City and shared a bit about her 10-year-old daughter. Stacey shares Arabella with Thiemo Rusch.
"My daughter is very self-reliant, she's independent already, and I love to see that in her. She's only 9 years old, but I think that's something we should teach all of our daughters," she shared at the time.
"Don't get me wrong, you need a strong support system, but learning to rely on yourself and believe in yourself can take you so many places in this world and beyond," added Stacey.

On Monday, Dec. 15, Stacey celebrated her daughter Arabella's 10th birthday by sharing a few photos from her birthday party on Instagram.
In one photo, Stacey posed with her daughter, who wore a sparkly, rainbow-colored dress. She stood between her mom and her dad, Thiemo.
"Happy 10th Birthday, Arabella!🎂🧜🏽♀️🐚 We are so proud of you! Proud of who you are and of who you are becoming," the proud mom wrote in her caption. "We’re proud of your kindness, big personality and gentle soul. The world is waiting for you!!! May God bless you and let you be a blessing to others. Alles Gute zum Geburtstag! #ourbabyAIR."

In August, Stacey shared a few photos on her social media as her daughter returned to school. The then-9-year-old wore a white graphic T-shirt with a cupcake on it and a pink skirt.
"Back to school!📚🍎🫶🏽 I’m so excited for my 4th grader! Arabella, may you be a blessing to everyone you meet, continue to be curious, and spread positivity throughout your school! You are amazing, mein Schatz, and we love you!💗 #firstdayvibes," she wrote in her caption.
