The *Fjord *actor confirmed that he and his partner, actress Annabelle Wallis, are expecting their first child together in an interview with Deadline,* *where he detailed impending fatherhood. The couple was photographed together in late April in New York, where Wallis showed off her baby bump. Stan and Wallis sparked dating rumors in 2022 and became more public with their relationship in 2024.

“I want to be a good dad,” he told the publication, confirming the baby news. Stan was raised by his mom and stepfather, "who took on a single mom and a grown-up kid,” he said in his Golden Globes acceptance speech for his role in *A Different Man*.

Meanwhile, Stan reconnected with his biological father when he was 18. His father died in 2021.

Elsewhere in his interview with Deadline, Stan said he's "feeling the responsibility of being a good father." “And not to mention a good man," added Stan.

"I’m 43 and I feel, in a lot of ways, I’m just starting to learn now. It’s just crazy to me. So, I love when I see I’m discovering different people’s point of view. I try to read as much as I can, no matter what the point of view is, just to understand it.”

His latest project, *Fjord*, has Stan portraying a father in an immigrant family in Norway.**
