Chris Lake shared the story of how his remix to Taylor Swift's "Opalite" came together on Instagram
In January, the DJ messaged Travis Kelce to let him know he wanted to give the remix a try
Swift "confirmed" that Kelce is her "house guy" on her Instagram Stories
Taylor Swift has a newfound love of EDM — and it's all thanks to fiancé Travis Kelce.
On Friday, Feb. 13, DJ Chris Lake announced that his remix of Swift's song "Opalite" was available to preorder — and shared the fun story about how it all came together.
In a collaborative post with Kelce, 36, on Instagram, the DJ shared screenshots of their DMs in January, where Lake, 43, reached out to let him know that he would "take a crack at remixing" a track for Swift and he'd do his "best."

"Chris! You're a legend bro love everything you come out with, and Chemistry is one of my favorite albums I listen to right now!! Can't to see how you put it together man," Kelce responded.
"Caught you and The Fish at Coachella a while back and is still one of my favorite sets of all time," he added.
Then, Lake said he was "on it" and messaged him again two days later to share that he had "something really cool with this."
After he shared the remix with Kelce, the NFL star couldn't contain his excitement.
"It's so good dawg, I'm gonna be rippin this s--- every car ride," he said, before adding, "She loves it too!! She said her teams gonna reach out asap!"
In the final slide of the Instagram post, Lake shared the CD for "Opalite (Chris Lake Remix)," which is available to preorder for 48 hours here.
The "Fate of Ophelia" singer shared the post to her Instagram Stories.
"Confirmed. Travis is my in-house house guy," Swift, 36, wrote with a prayer emoji.
Lake captioned the post, "When @killatrav & @taylorswift hit you about an official remix.. you get it done :)"

"My official remix of “Opalite” @taylorswift is now available for preorder on CD - stay tuned for more info about the release," he added. "(Don’t worry I got Travis’ permission to post these :))"
Also on Feb. 13, Swift released the extended version for her "Opalite" music video and shared behind-the-scenes photos of the shoot on Instagram.
"I never want to forget a single detail of this hysterical shoot, and now I don’t have to! Excited to share more of the Opalite Music Video with two extended versions full of dance lessoning, our phenomenal cameos, camcorder footage, gigantic scrunchies & fanny pack angles! Parts 1 & 2 are out now at link in bio," she wrote.
The extended versions are available to watch on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and TIDAL now.
